Mahina founded Alpha Gal Pal after her AGS diagnosis and quick onset of food fear. She is a proud mother of two and the mimi of three. Mahina has a background in customer relations, environmental services, and food safety.

James has always been the technical brains behind Mahina’s crazy ideas. After serving several years in the US Air Force, James has followed his life-long career path in cyber security.

Jim is our business manager and works hard to keep Mahina’s goals within realities reach. Jim is a veteran of the US Army, with a background in construction, business management, and certified tree hugging.

After Mahina was diagnosed, she was not okay…she felt like she was taking on this life-changing allergy completely alone. When she finally came across a website offering to help and asking her questions about her journey; she was excited that someone – anyone – cared. Unfortunately, she never head back from a person, but instead received a ridiculous amount of automated newsletters.
